Tucker will focus on helping Near Space Labs capitalize on growing customer demand for high-quality geospatial data
BROOKLYN, NY – June 8, 2022 – Near Space Labs (NSL), the cutting-edge geospatial data and Earth observation company, today announced the strategic hire of senior executive Matthew Tucker as Vice President of Sales. Tucker will lead and build the sales team at NSL to accelerate business growth into more industries and solutions. This new position was strategically created to enable NSL to capitalize on the escalating customer demand for high-quality geospatial data.

Tucker brings 20+ years of sales experience from early and mid-stage SaaS and software companies. He received his BA in Environmental Management & Policy from London Metropolitan University, UK. Prior to joining NSL, he held roles including Senior Vice President of Revenue and Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Marin Software where he was a principal player of the company going public with an IPO of $105 million. He also advises top-executives of high-growth tech companies on their Go-To-Market strategies, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales at Smartly.io.
A few of Matt’s noteworthy accomplishments include building the technology division at a UK media agency, The Search Works, that led to a £56 million acquisition to Tradedoubler, forging a partnership with Google that spurred Marin Software’s revenue growth 25% to $59 million, as well as winning Marin Software’s President’s Club for three consecutive years.
